Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent required. No prior experience required. Experience in a hotel or customer service environment is a plus. Excellent cleaning and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, work independently, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail. This position requires physical activity, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods while performing housekeeping duties. Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa. Free rentals for ski equipment, tubes, kayaks, paddle boards, discounts on rafting and Hot Air Balloon rental discounts. Free professional theater tickets. $300 Experiential Fund (only for Full time) $200 housing stipend (only for full time) Soaking, bring up to 8 friends or family. Local shopping discounts. Food discounts, 30% on Wednesdays and 20% on other days. Extra income on guest shout outs. The ability to get hotel discounts in Texas. We own and manage hotels in Houston and San Antonio. The Springs Resort, located in the heart of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is a renowned luxury destination celebrated for its 25 naturally hot therapeutic mineral pools. Nestled alongside the San Juan River, the resort offers breathtaking views and a tranquil environment focused on wellness and guest service.

Your mission
Should you choose to accept it… The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant / Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards and ensure guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring every room is spotless, organizing workstations, and managing linens and supplies. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy creating a pristine environment, and thrive in a dynamic team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Where you can make an impact
- Ensure all guest rooms meet resort standards for cleanliness and efficiency.
- Maintain and organize work carts and stations to enhance appearance and productivity.
- Replace used linens, towels, and necessary supplies with fresh items.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas following detailed housekeeping checklists.
- Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, washing, trash disposal, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing as needed.
- Maintain uniforms and nametags in good condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or other housekeeping duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on emergency procedures, current projects, security issues, and the location of emergency equipment.
