Take the lead in delivering complex grid and integration solutions for major renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical standards and drive high-impact electrical design across multiple sites.
You will be responsible for developing and reviewing MV and LV distribution system designs, ensuring seamless integration with the national grid. This role requires strong technical depth, sound engineering judgement, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design through to commissioning.

What You’ll Do
Design and review MV / LV distribution systems for renewable energy plants
Conduct grid connection studies and interface design with Eskom substations
Perform protection, earthing, and switchgear layout design
Integrate SCADA and control systems for generation assets
Oversee electrical works during construction, testing, and commissioning
What You Bring
Pr Eng registration with 10–19 years of electrical engineering experience
Strong technical capability in grid integration, protection, and distribution design
Experience working with Eskom grid requirements and renewable energy projects
Ability to manage multiple design packages and technical interfaces
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
