Job descriptionMatric certificate with Maths and Science. Completed NTC 2 - 4 qualification or equivalent. Registered SAQCC Practitioner. Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan (preferably a Fitter). 3 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and computer literate. Valid unendorsed Code B driver’s license. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Availability for standby duties on weekends and public holidays as required.
We have an opening in our Technical Engineering Department located in Kempton Park. We invite suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements for this role to apply.
Overview And Key Responsibilities
The Technician will be responsible for performing installation and maintenance activities effectively, efficiently, and safely. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities as directed.
- Assisting with the execution of identified project activities as instructed.
- Reporting on maintenance, project, and safety activities performed.
- Supporting the implementation of required safety and departmental systems.
- Ensuring compliance with necessary safety systems and protocols.
