Job descriptionA minimum N3 qualification Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Hatchery or 3 years’ experience in a similar role as an Artisan Be in possession of a trade certificate as an Electrician or Millwright PLC, AC Drives and Controller knowledge and experience Must be computer literate Fluent in English and an additional official language Passionate, self‑motivated and performance driven Must be pro‑active and able to work accurately and independently Willing to work weekends, public holidays and standby duty Must be a team player
The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
- Managing and controlling the maintenance processes involved in the Hatchery
- Managing staff in a disciplined and effective manner
- Attending to breakdowns and maintaining 20 keys
- Managing strict bio-security measures and adhering to Health and Safety requirements and laws
- Maintenance and project work within the Hatchery
- Ensuring the highest product quality / hygiene standards is always maintained.
