We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of all technical systems within our hospital. This is a pivotal role ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our medical, electrical, and facility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the hospital's technical services team, including Engineers, Technicians, and contractors.
- Ensure the timely maintenance and servicing of all medical equipment, HVAC systems, generators, lifts, fire alarms, and other critical infrastructure.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to technical faults and emergencies.
- Monitor compliance with health & safety regulations, Health Technical Memoranda (HTM), and other relevant standards.
- Oversee contractor work, ensuring quality control and compliance with hospital policies.
- Prepare and manage technical budgets, procurement, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with hospital administration, clinical staff, and external partners to support operational excellence.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical) or a related technical discipline.Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities or technical management, preferably in a healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of hospital infrastructure, HTM standards, and statutory compliance.Proven leadership and project management skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
