Position : Solution Sales Specialist – Africa
Role Overview :
As a Solution Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional value through solution-based selling. You will own a defined sales quota and maintain direct relationships with enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
Quota Ownership : Manage and achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.Lead Generation & Territory Planning : Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively generate new leads.Business Growth : Identify and convert opportunities across Africa, consistently meeting financial targets.Sales Negotiation : Lead negotiations and secure long-term client agreements.Client & Partner Engagement : Build trusted relationships across Africa through strategic engagement.Regional Expansion : Develop go-to-market strategies for new territories.Public & Private Sector Engagement : Navigate procurement processes and build credibility with stakeholders.Channel Development : Establish partnerships with resellers and technology allies.Solution Selling : Sell across Cloud, Cybersecurity, Managed Services, Compliance, and Cost Optimization offerings.Vendor Collaboration : Work closely with strategic vendors like Microsoft and AWS to unlock new opportunities.Customer Satisfaction : Own executive-level relationships and drive customer success.Account Management : Maintain and grow relationships within assigned accounts.Product Introduction : Present BUI’s offerings to technical and business decision-makers.Persuasive Presentations : Deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to customer needs.Requirements
Experience : 5–10 years in solution sales, with a proven track record in Africa.Certifications : Relevant certifications in Microsoft or AWS solutions.Quota Management : Demonstrated success in managing and achieving sales quotas.Customer Engagement : Experience in maintaining direct relationships with enterprise customers.Sales Acumen : Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Solution Selling Expertise : Strong background in consultative and value-based selling.Regional Knowledge : Familiarity with African business culture and procurement frameworks.Skills : Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Independence : Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.Adaptability : Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Travel : Willingness to travel domestically, regionally, and internationally.#J-18808-Ljbffr
