Responsibilities
- Operations Management — Provide operational support services and act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area, using existing systems and protocols.
- Performance Management — Develop and propose performance objectives; manage and report on team performance; coach direct reports or project / account team members to achieve objectives and take corrective action where necessary.
- Customer Management (External) — Manage client queries and complaints, provide support, and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Operational Compliance — Identify non-compliance with policies and regulatory codes, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Leadership and Direction — Explain local action plans, motivate the team to achieve local business goals, and relate actions to the broader strategy.
- Capability Building — Identify development needs and implement actions to build capabilities; provide training or coaching to enable performance improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data — Monitor CRM usage, resolve standard issues, and escalate as needed.
- Insights and Reporting — Extract and combine data to generate standard reports and suggest improvements to achieve targets.
- Work Scheduling and Allocation — Develop short- or medium-term work schedules and approve overtime or additional resources as needed.
- Personal Capability Building — Stay informed on internal policies, external regulations, products, and industry best practices; pursue relevant accreditation where applicable.
Qualifications
Education : Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential). Regulatory Exam 5 (Advantageous); FAIS credits, CPD hours and COB (Advantageous).Experience
