Electrical Engineer (ECSA, SAIEE, SACPCMP - Solar Farms)

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer (ECSA, SAIEE, SACPCMP) for Solar farm projects - Midrand

Project Manager – 1MW PV Solar Farm (Midrand & DRC)

Contract : 1-Year Fixed Term

Salary : R60k–R70k CTC / month

Location : Office-based in Midrand with occasional site visits to DR Congo

Responsibility :

Lead the full lifecycle of a 1MW solar farm project, from planning to commissioning. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, conducting site assessments, managing risks, ensuring compliance, and mentoring junior engineers. Additional duties involve tendering, identifying opportunities in the power sector, and providing technical expertise for feasibility studies and system design.

Requirements :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (min. National Diploma)
• Project Management certification (advantageous)
• Registration with ECSA, SAIEE, SACPCMP, etc.
• 8+ years’ relevant experience in Solar projects
• Proficiency in MS Project & CAD software
