Job Purpose
To provide data-driven insights that support commercial decision-making, improve business performance, and drive strategic growth. The Commercial Data Analyst will analyse sales, customer, pricing, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse commercial data from various sources (CRM, ERP, financial systems, etc.).
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, churn, and profitability.
- Support pricing strategy through elasticity analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Conduct market and customer segmentation analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Forecast sales and revenue trends using statistical models and predictive analytics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data reporting.
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear visualizations and strategic recommendations.
- Support sales processes and the commercial function
