Position Overview

NORTH-WEST UNIVERSITY (POTCHEFSTROOM CAMPUS) FACULTY OF ENGINEERING invites applications for a Junior Lecturer / Lecturer position (11 positions) under Faculty of Engineering. This is a 2‑year fixed‑term appointment, Permanent Grade A9 / A8. The role is part of a vibrant industry‑engaged academic environment that offers undergraduate, postgraduate diploma and specialised programmes in Industrial Engineering, Sustainability, Nuclear Science and Technology, and Sustainable Mining.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of study guides and subject material.
• Delivery of lectures (including online, remote or hybrid formats).
• Student supervision.
• Marking and assessment.
• General module administration.
• Research administration.

Remuneration

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with NWU policy guidelines.
