Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 (D365) Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing architectural frameworks and standards, optimizing business processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of CRM projects aligned with strategic business goals. This role requires close collaboration with Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and Integration Development Teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and alignment with business and technical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to understand customer engagement needs.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable D365 CE solutions.
- Ensure alignment of D365 CE solutions with broader customer experience and digital transformation strategies.
Solution Design and Documentation
Design end-to-end technical solutions in D365 CE, including integrations with external systems and Microsoft Power Platform.Work closely with Enterprise Architects to align with overall system architecture and technology roadmaps.Produce detailed architectural and solution design documentation, data models, and process maps.Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure traceability of requirements to design and implementation.Business Process Optimization and Documentation
Analyze and document existing business processes across departments.Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify opportunities for optimization.Lead workshops and process mapping sessions with stakeholders.Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency through D365.Technical Consultation
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on D365 CE capabilities and implementation best practices.Collaborate with Integration Development Teams to define APIs, data flows, and middleware solutions.Provide technical guidance on the use of custom vs. standard functionality.Solution Validation
Work with QA and stakeholder teams to review, test, and validate solutions.Ensure solutions meet functional requirements, technical performance, and security standards.Participate in user acceptance testing and issue resolution.Training and Enablement
Create user training materials and technical documentation.Deliver enablement sessions for end users, business stakeholders, and D365 developers.Mentor developers on architectural patterns, DevOps practices, and design principles.Feedback and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with users and business units to gather feedback on deployed solutions.Use feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Maintain backlog of enhancement items in coordination with the Product Owner and Business Analyst.Project Management and DevOps
Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.Lead the implementation of DevOps processes using Azure DevOps, including CI / CD, code reviews, and version control.Ensure integration pipelines and deployment strategies meet enterprise standards.Collaborate across functions, ensuring tight coordination with Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with business and IT teams.Proven experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).Strong background in enterprise systems integration and process optimization.Experience with Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and Agile frameworks.Microsoft certifications in D365 CE and / or Solution Architecture (e.g., MB-600) are highly desirable.Years of Experience
7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM including architecture, implementation, and support.Other requirements
Experience with D365 Finance & Operations or dual-write integrations.Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).Exposure to ISO27001, GDPR, or other data governance standards.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.Deep knowledge of CRM systems, integration principles, and business process design.Ability to guide and mentor technical teams while aligning solutions to business outcomes.Team player with ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional collaboration.Seniority level
