Job descriptionA degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 2+ years of actuarial experience (bonus if its in short-term insurance!). 45 actuarial exams under your belt, and actively pursuing qualification. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently. Professional, resilient, and comfortable working to deadlines. What Youll Be Doing :
- Dive into actuarial tasks and support senior team members on high-impact projects.
- Assist in pricing for new and renewal business, designing rating frameworks, and reviewing profitability.
- Offer data-driven advice to underwriters on pricing strategies.
- Conduct reserving and expense analysis to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance to help shape overall strategy.
- Continue progressing through your actuarial exams while building deep technical and industry knowledge.
