Warehouse Manager

DESCRIPTION

• Managing warehouse and ensure efficient running and flow of the warehouse
• Staff management of all logistics staff
• Ensure correct packing and labelling of the warehouse
• Oversee receiving of goods as per orders from both local suppliers and overseas containers
• Quality control of goods being receiving into warehouse to ensure customer service expectations are met
• Stock control :
• Ensuring daily stock takes are carried out and inventory accuracy to system
• Stock rotation and recons
• Stock loss control
• Housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse
• Ensuring correct stock is pulled for outbound section and ensuring strict controls are carried out
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as well company policies and procedures
• Proactively seeking improved logistics solutions optimising cost and service efficiencies
• Requirements of the role demand flexibility
• Report on compliance, risk and operational controls in the warehouse
• Ensure packing and shelving standards are met
• Oversee loading of trucks that correct stock and quantities are loaded as per picking slips
• Responsible for the trucks and co-ordinating and arranging the licensing and maintenance thereof
• Daily planning of the routes for the Drivers
• Handling stock returns and back orders
