Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the returns and credits process, with a strong focus on administration, documentation, and query resolution to ensure accurate and timely processing within the warehouse.Key Responsibilities
Proof of Delivery
Process all PODs accurately and timeouslyInvestigate and resolve all POD-related queriesCustomer and Sales Queries
Handle customer and sales representative queries regarding returns and creditsEnsure timely and professional resolution of all POD related queriesInventory Support
Assist with resolving inventory discrepanciesSupport general inventory control processesStock take
Actively participate in all stock takesManage and maintain all documentation related to stock takesReturns and Credits
Oversee the intake and processing of returned goodsUpdate systems and issue credits to customersEnsure all cancelled orders are correctly returned to stockReview and process driver-reported damages and returnsEnsure credits are accurate and processed within 24 hoursGeneral Warehouse Administration
Perform general admin duties related to returns and creditMaintain organised records and support audit readinessMinimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in running a warehouse independently will be advantageousSkills Required
Administrative accuracy : ability to manage high volumes of documentation with minimal errorTime management : able to prioritize tasks and ensure credits are processed within tight timeframesCommunication skills : clear verbal and written communication when handling POD and customer queriesProblem-solving : investigative skills to resolve PODs issues and return discrepancies efficientlyInventory control : competence in reconciling stock and assisting in inventory adjustmentsSystem proficiency : strong skills in warehouse or ERP systems (eg : SAP, Syspro, Sage) for credit processing and stock movementsAttention to detail : especially important when dealing with documentation and customer creditsCustomer service orientation : a helpful, responsive approach to internal and external queriesAccounting / Financial Services jobs
