Job Description

Purpose of the job :

The Senior Cloud FinOps Administrator is responsible for driving cloud financial management excellence across the organization. This role focuses on optimizing cloud infrastructure costs, managing budgets, and implementing governance frameworks to ensure cost efficiency, financial accountability, and strategic cloud investment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expertise in optimizing infrastructure cost management, resource utilization, MOA management, and reporting across all cloud environments.
• Monitor and manage cloud spending, budgets, and financial performance.
• Analyse cloud usage and cost data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Implement and manage cost-saving strategies, tools, and automation to enhance cloud efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and technical teams to align cloud budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Develop, document, and enforce cloud cost management policies and governance standards.
• Generate detailed cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks in cloud services.
• Ensure compliance with financial management and cloud governance frameworks.
• Educate and support business and technical stakeholders on cloud financial management best practices.
• Utilize FinOps tools and software to improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in cost tracking and reporting.
