We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Legal Counsel – Insurance & Regulatory Affairs to lead legal and regulatory initiatives across our property & casualty, reinsurance, program business, surplus lines, and risk exchange structures.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy General Counsel – Corporate Legal Affairs, providing enterprise-wide legal coverage and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Counsel & Risk Management

Provide expert legal advice on underwriting, claims handling, product development, and distribution strategies.

Oversee regulatory compliance programs and ensure adherence to state and federal insurance laws.

Collaborate closely with underwriting, claims, compliance, and finance teams to ensure coordinated legal support.

Lead and mentor a team of attorneys and compliance professionals focused on insurance and regulatory matters.
