Job descriptionGeneral store & people management Process and capture data on SYSPRO Procure, receipt, issue and dispatch raw materials, supplies and products to relevant plants Inspect incoming deliveries (quantity and quality) and report damages, abnormalities and variances Execute stock inventory, accuracy levels and logistics (storage and distribution of goods) Assess stock supply and reorder status Maintain high level of discipline to accurately succeed in daily tasks Manage imported stock systems and procedure (rebate store) Working knowledge of inventory / stock control & procurement principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans) Numerical Skills Analytical, problem solving and organisational skills Leadership and supervisory skills Excellent administrative and time management skills Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Self motivated, disciplined and enthusiastic with high levels of drive and energy Pro-active and dynamic Excellent attendance track record Systems driven Well organized Attention to detail Dependability High Level of Integrity
Minimum requirements :
- South African Citizen
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be advantageous
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, EXCEL intermediate, SYSPRO)
- 3-5 years work experience in a store- / stock management / warehouse / procurement environment of which 3 years must on supervisory level
- Proven operational experience in store / stock management and procurement essential
- Valid Driverâs License
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as and when required
- Technical knowledge of Maintenance buying
- Strong relationship building skills
Physical and Environmental requirements :
Incumbent must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
Work in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to the heat & dust elements
Move heavy objects with proper equipment
