Unit Manager / Nurse Manager to work as Nurse Coordinator (SANC) - English / Portuguese speaking

Job descriptionProvide expert medical direction, due diligence, and case oversight from initial contact to resolution. Coordinate hospitalisation, medical evacuations, and repatriations, ensuring adherence to company Medical Transportation Standards. Deliver telephone-based medical assessments and advice to clients, patients, and stakeholders worldwide. Liaise with treating physicians, insurance providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless case management. Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure timely handovers across shifts. Act as a medical escort when required and determine appropriate escort personnel for specific cases. Contribute to network development through site surveys and provider referrals. Support business development initiatives and promote company services to clients. BSc Nursing or Diploma in Nursing – Registered Nurse (RN) and registered with SANC. 5+ years post-graduate experience, ideally in Emergency, Trauma, or ICU settings. Previous experience as a Unit Manager or Nurse Manager. BLS and ACLS certification. Experience in medical escort services is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Exceptional communication and coordination abilities. Geographical awareness and global mindset. Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics. Service-focused mentality with a passion for patient care. Fluency in English; Portuguese is a significant advantage.
