Primary purpose of the job
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position requires the services of an individual to effectively develop, implement and maintain quality systems to ensure that all subordinates are working and performing according to the requirements as set out in their job descriptions and quality operating system procedures.
Individuals with the skills and competencies below will be considered for these position
Key Performance Areas
- Manage performance of subordinates.
- Maintain quality systems according to ISO & OEM system requirements.
- Ensure that all customer requirements are met.
- Continuous improvement of product quality and systems by analysing performance and implement corrective action when required.
- Establish and maintain Quality Department budget.
- Manage customer requests / complaints.
- Manage quality performance indicators.
- Train and mentor subordinates.
- Continuously improve QMS in-line with customer expectations.

The Construction Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) on all construction sites. Deep understanding of construction processes, materials, testing methods, and quality control techniques.

Meticulous in reviewing documentation, conducting inspections, and ensuring precision in all aspects of work.
Strong ability to lead quality initiatives, influence site teams, and ensure adherence to standards without direct authority.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, training, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple quality processes across various projects simultaneously.
Unwavering commitment to ethical practices and maintaining the highest quality standards.
