ABOUT THE ROLE :

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As an Operator Making Safe, you will be responsible for making the working area safe after blasting operations.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to :

Make area safe prior to loading and hauling (watering down);

Make safe a workplaces by means of barring;

Examine and make safe main access roads;

Pump water using a Submersible De-watering Pump;

ABOUT YOU :

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following :

Must have a relevant experience in a mining operation.

Qualifications for this role are :

Serious contenders will Grade 12 / Grade 10 ( internal candidates) with relevant experience in a mining operation;

Competency B Certificate is advantageous;

Valid Code 08 Driver’s license is essential.
