Overview

A Global Market Leader in Pig and Poultry Equipment are looking for a strong Technical Buyer to join their team. Almost all projects and material is imported.

Responsibilities

A buyer who will be responsible for managing the ordering, buying and follow up process with our local suppliers here is SA as well as our overseas suppliers based mainly at our Distribution Centres in Germany and Malaysia.

Qualifications

It is important that this candidate has :

• Previous buying experience especially with overseas Companies based in Europe ideally Germany
• Can negotiate best pricing with local suppliers
• Has a high degree of urgency and energy
• Thinks out the box and has a high level if initiative
• Has experience with the ordering process and following up regularly to give feedback to the sales teams and warehouse.
• Reports to the warehouse Ops Manager
