Role Outline
A Supervisor / Admin is responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support to operations, ensuring all records are accurate and documentation is kept on record. Additionally, to control and coordinate the distribution and warehouse processes within the Distribution Centre, planning and organizing resources to meet customer requirements while exceeding service levels.Key Responsibilities
To work in conjunction with managers and to monitor, develop subordinatesTo provide leadership, control and manager the DHL logistics depotTo control and utilize optimum levels the resources available to provide clients with an excellent service at the lowest costResponsible for integrity of client warehouse stocksCompliance to Good Distribution Practice Guidelines, as well as MCC and SAPC requirementsUpdating and sharing of operation reportsImplement and update systems and procedures for the control and security of the businessTo participate in stock takes and cycle countsTo work within operating areas as determined by management and performing ADHOC duties as and when required to meet the needs of the businessManage daily shift operations including customer planning requirementsMeet and exceed operational service levels and manage cost of laborDrive and develop team cultureDelivery of Key Performance IndicatorsHR Issues – Managing Industrial RelationsImplementation and support approaches to prepare and support individuals, teams, and leaders in making organizational changes that drives the business forwardQuality ControlCompliance to Standard Operating ProceduresMonitoring stock counts i.e. Planning, Preparation and Physical counting of stockTeam Building and Morale Management Maximize accuracy, productivity and space utilizationEnsure daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplishedEffective Leadership and Management of the operational and administrative teamsManage Human Resource through management team, ensure appropriate levels of Human resources to meet business needs, performance issues, training and development, employee productivity and recruitment and retention of staffCompliance with statutory and company policies and proceduresThrough Management team ensure compliance with statutory and company policies on :Health and SafetyEmployment EquityLabor RelationsLegislativeEnvironmental IssuesIncluding regular monitoring to ensure these areas are maintained at a high level of complianceResponsible for handling the correct pallets and documentsEnsure accurate customer records are maintained and available as hard copiesCompile the Delivery Report for the client dailyManage all cycle counts and stock takesVerify loaded pallets once checked by the checkerOrganize and collect stationery needed for the department and submit weekly consumable countsCheck if loads are put away correctly by the RT OperatorsVerify and ensure accurate Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and pallet slips before signoffBuild relationships throughout the supply chain (e.g. outbound clerks, haulers, customers, depots, and customer service consultants)Conform and promote awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, ISO 13485, and regulatory requirements associated with the Quality Management System (QMS)Full SAP movement management of RM for the clientProvide leadership and manage the DHL logistics depotControl and utilize optimum levels of resources to provide clients with excellent service at the lowest costParticipate in stock takes and cycle counts.
