Technical Sales Advisor : Bioconditioning

An established and growing business in the animal nutrition sector is seeking a Technical Sales Advisor to join its sales team. The role focuses on promoting and advising on advanced animal feed additives and disinfectant solutions for the feed, livestock, and food industries.

This position requires a professional who can combine technical agricultural expertise with a strong commercial mindset and a proactive approach to building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong technical understanding of the product portfolio and communicate concepts confidently to clients.

Analyse customer needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and resolve technical queries.

Prepare reports, proposals, and technical documents tailored to customer requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for growth.

Expand the customer base by developing new business opportunities.

Track and report on monthly sales performance.

Research market trends and provide feedback on product and industry developments.

Qualifications & Experience

Education : Grade 12 plus a relevant degree or diploma (BCom / BSc Agric preferred).

Experience : Minimum of 4 years in a technical sales environment , ideally in agriculture, animal nutrition, or feed.

Travel : Must be willing to travel extensively (>

5,000 km per month) and spend at least 6+ nights away each month.

Skills : Commercially minded, technically confident, with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
