Wash Bay Personal / General Worker

A company is seeking a  wash bay worker in the truck industry with prior experience in vehicle cleaning or logistics is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

General Workers :

Assist with loading and offloading goods and materials .

Support the workshop and logistics teams with basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Ensure the yard area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Move vehicles, parts, or tools as instructed by supervisors.

Help drivers and logistics staff with daily dispatch and receiving activities.

Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures .

Perform any other general duties as required by management.

Baywash Assistants :

Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and company vehicles according to set standards.

Ensure washing equipment and chemicals are used safely and effectively.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area .

Report any damages, leaks, or defects on vehicles to the supervisor.

Assist in monitoring water and chemical usage to reduce waste.

Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines in the wash bay.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent .

Previous experience in a logistics, workshop, or cleaning environment (advantageous).

Basic understanding of vehicle types and workshop safety .

Physically fit and able to perform manual work.

Reliable, punctual, and willing to work shifts or weekends if required.
