We’re building a content-driven marketing engine that turns expertise into inbound leads through multiple websites, YouTube, and email funnels. We’re fully remote, data-driven, and focused on quality output that performs, not AI filler content. We are a lean team so you will make an impact.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Conversion-Focused Copywriter who can blend persuasive writing, SEO awareness, and digital marketing logic to produce content that sells without sounding salesy.
You’ll own the voice, structure, and messaging across our websites, blogs, and YouTube scripts, ensuring every piece of content builds trust and drives enquiries. You will be working with our SEO to ensure that the copy ultimately ranks when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Copywriting for Conversions
- Create and optimise copy for multiple niche websites, homepage, service pages, landing pages, and CTAs, designed to turn visitors into booked consultations.
- Collaborate with the SEO specialist and web developer to ensure copy, layout, and CTAs align for maximum conversion.
- Write 2 long-form, high-quality blogs per website per month. This could be based on converting our YouTube video scripts into website friendly versions.
- These won’t be keyword dumps, they should be genuinely valuable to readers, demonstrate authority, and position our brand as the go-to accountant for that niche.
- YouTube Script Support
- Review and refine long-form YouTube scripts for clarity, pacing, and viewer retention (currently scripts are written by the video team).
- Assist with punchy hooks, Shorts scripts, and video titles that drive engagement and align with content strategy.
- Lead Journey Alignment
- Work with our marketing and web teams to ensure messaging is consistent across website, YouTube, and email.
- Understand how each piece fits into the lead funnel (awareness → conversion → nurture).
- Coordinate with our SEO, developer, and video teams to plan campaigns, improve content layout, and test copy performance.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years experience in copywriting or content marketing for web-based businesses.Proven track record in conversion copywriting (landing pages, CTAs, websites that sell).Experience producing long-form, SEO-optimised articles that attract and retain readers.Strong understanding of digital funnels, CTAs, and content psychology.Excellent written English — ability to write clean, confident, and commercial copy.Comfortable collaborating across design, SEO, and development teams.Nice-to-Have
Experience in SME finance, accounting, or professional services content.Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, and ActiveCampaign.Understanding of YouTube marketing and analytics.Basic knowledge of UK tax / accounting terminology.What We Offer
