In this senior investment role, you will combine financial expertise, stakeholder engagement, and strategic execution to deliver high-quality transactions and provincial growth initiatives.
As the Regional Manager, you will oversee end-to-end deal origination, assessment, structuring, and execution while managing a small regional team. The role requires strong financial modelling capability, sound judgement, and the ability to represent the organisation across key provincial forums. You will drive pipeline development, advance high-quality investment proposals, and ensure efficient implementation of approved transactions.

What You’ll Do
- Originate, assess, and structure commercially viable transactions aligned to mandate requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis, prepare investment proposals, and develop robust financial models.
- Present transactions to investment and credit committees for approval.
- Manage implementation and disbursement of approved deals within turnaround targets.
- Drive deal flow in the Western Cape through proactive outreach and partnership development.
- Build and maintain a quality pipeline that advances provincial economic and job-creation initiatives.
- Oversee daily operations of the regional office and mentor analysts and support staff.
- Represent the organisation at provincial forums, government engagements, and investment platforms.
- Foster strong relationships with municipalities, DFIs, business chambers, and enterprise networks.
What You Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in investment analysis, deal structuring, development finance, or corporate finance.Proven ability to independently originate and close investment transactions.Strong financial modelling, valuation, and credit risk experience.Exposure to transaction documentation and legal structuring requirements.Experience engaging with public-sector and development stakeholders beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment Management, or similar (postgraduate advantageous).What Success Looks Like
