This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to provide administrative and clerical support to their legal team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities : Provide administrative support to solicitors by managing schedules, drafting legal documents, and handling correspondencePrepare, proofread, and file legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefsMaintain and organise client files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-dateLiaise with clients, court officials, and other third parties on behalf of the legal teamManage client billing, file management, and invoicing as requiredCoordinate meetings, appointments, and court hearings for solicitorsMaintain confidentiality and ensure the protection of sensitive legal informationPerform general office duties such as answering phone calls, filing, and organising legal paperworkRequirements : Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentationExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal softwareStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and ability to work under pressureA professional and approachable attitude with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive informationDesirable Skills : Previous experience in litigation or corporate law is an advantageKnowledge of office management and billing systemsA relevant legal qualification or certification is beneficialPlease note that only experienced candidates will be considered and contacted.
