We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Assistant to join our clients' dynamic team in the urban beverage distribution industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our clients' delivery network by managing reports, communicating with drivers, resolving delivery issues, and tracking their fleet of trucks. Responsibilities :

Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance, truck utilisation, and other key operational metrics.

Act as a vital point of contact for the drivers, providing them with support and instructions to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Proactively manage and resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process, liaising with relevant departments and customers as necessary.

Monitor and track the real-time location of our clients transportation trucks, ensuring that routes are followed and schedules are met.

Requirements :

Qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain management or similar course proffered.

A solid background in logistics is essential, with previous experience in a similar role.

Preferred experience with code 14 trucks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think on your feet and handle issues as they arise.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting and effective tracking of operations.

Proficient in using logistics and tracking software, as well as MS Office Suite and a strong proficiency for Microsoft Excel.
