Job Summary :

Our client in Jeffreys Bay is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join the team as a Wind Farm Assistant Rigger. The Assistant Rigger will work alongside the rigging team to help safely and efficiently install, maintain, and repair various components within the wind farm. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the rigging team with the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine components.
Safely operate rigging equipment such as pulleys, hoists, and cables.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
Report any safety concerns or issues to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications and Experience :

Matric.

Relevant rigger certificate.

Previous experience in rigging.

Experience working and assistaing on wind farms.

Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
