Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, process, and review reinsurance accounts in accordance with treaty terms and IFRS principles.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of cedent and reinsurer accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse treaty statistics, assist in reporting, and liaise with Underwriting and Actuarial teams.
- Manage claims data, ensuring reserves and recoveries are updated and correctly reflected.
- Support audits, assist with performance-based commission calculations, and contribute to improving data quality.
Job Experience and Skills Required :
Education : Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential).Experience : 35 years accounting experience within insurance or reinsurance (non-negotiable).Strong knowledge of IFRS and solid reconciliation skills.Advanced Excel proficiency and exposure to systems such as SAP, CaseWare, or similar.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.A curious mindset and a love for numbers that make sense .Apply now!
