Responsibilities

• Design, analysis and development of integration flows (including error and audit) between a variety of applications
• Hands-on experience with integration tooling and runtime environments such as IBM ACE, Datapower, API Connect, MQ
• Develop using SOAPUI, Postman, ACE toolkit for development, MQ Explorer, RFHUtil
• Proficient with runtime tools : Atlassian Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, Jira and Confluence
• Work with integration protocols such as RESTful API, Web services, MQ and File transfers (MQMFT, FTPS, SFTP)
• Transformation and data handling : JSON / SWAGGER, XML / XSD / WSDL / XSLT, CSV / Excel, Fixed Length, Binary; also handle non-transformation (Binary)
• Apply project development methodologies (waterfall and / or agile)
• Work with streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Confluent, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs, Pub / Sub) and integrate real-time streaming data into applications or data platforms
• Understand event-driven architectures and microservices
• Communicate technical designs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts
• Stay updated on changes to integration tools and methodologies
• Ability to learn and implement new techniques
