Thermal-Resistant Materials Sales Representative

Job descriptionIdentify and develop new business opportunities : prospect for potential new clients in sectors such as steel, glass, ceramics, cement, petrochemicals, power generation, foundries, etc. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers. Understand customer needs and technical requirements; recommend the most appropriate heat resistant products or systems. Present product specifications, strengths, limitations; provide technical advice and support. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate terms. Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators. Conduct regular field visits / site inspections to assess applications, resolve issues, demonstrate product performance. Gather market intelligence : track competitor activity, pricing, new materials / technologies. Collaborate internally to ensure orders are fulfilled, products delivered on time, quality standards met. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and feedback to management. Attend trade shows, industry conferences, customer training sessions as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the sales of heat resistant materials and the installation process involved
- Good communication, negotiation, presentation skills
- Ability to travel frequently, sometimes to remote or industrial sites; valid drivers license; reliable vehicle
- Self-motivated, targetâdriven, able to work independently in the field
- The initiative to drive business as their own to grow long term in this environment
DUTIES
Salary : negotiable, basic plus commission, dependent on experience
