MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN

LOCATION CAPE TOWN

SALARY : MARKET RELATED WITH MEDICAL AID / PROVIDENT FUND

We are urgently looking for a competent Maintenance Handyman to join our maintenance team at our luxury hotel in Cape Town.

Requirements :

Advanced PC literacy (MS Office suite)

Experience with Electronic Asset Management Systems (EAMS) preferred

Strong administration skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in English

2 years experience in a similar role in an up-market hotel

Ability to work flexible shifts and across various functions

Work across multiple functions, guest rooms, front of house (e.g. public areas, restaurants, lounges, passages, lifts, rest rooms, lobby, conference rooms, gym and spa) and back of house (e.g. staff canteen, passages, lifts, staff change rooms, offices and kitchens)

Strong planning and organizational skills

Initiative and innovation

Attention to detail and follow-through

Customer-focused mindset

Adaptability and ability to work under pressure

Handle and operate general power tools, ladders, generators and hand tools
