Hostess / Waiter

This intimate camp, containing a handful of luxury tented rooms, is nestled in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Resort. The lodge is a sanctuary that invites guests to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover their connection to the wild and to themselves.

Candidate requirements :

• Matric, and a relevant hospitality qualification would be beneficial (not essential)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a luxury lodge / camp setting (this is essential)
• Must be a team player, as this is a small team. The ideal candidate enjoys dealing with people (colleagues and guests)
• Must be a great communicator - c omfortable talking and entertaining guests
• Must be friendly, guest-centric, and have the ability to take initiative
• Will be welcoming and greeting guests, taking orders, and assisting with bookings and inquiries
• Up to date with and passionate about food trends
• General bar skill
• Stock take & management experience
• Must be able to assist with front of house duties such as greeting new arrivals and liaising with the team about guest needs, answering simple questions

3 weeks on / 1 week off.

Live-in. Might be sharing depending on others' work cycles. Rooms are modern, newly built, clean, and might have AC depending on which rooms are open. Electricity, staff kitchen, shared bathroom. Food allowance or staff meals included.
