SAP BODS Development

Key Responsibilities

• SAP BODS Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into SAP HANA.
• Performance and Optimization : Optimize BODS dataflows and HANA data models for performance and scalability, including performance tuning, memory management, and using features like delta loads and caching.
• Data Modeling : Create and maintain complex data models in SAP HANA, including Attribute, Analytic, and Calculation Views.
• Data Quality and Cleansing : Implement data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity and resolve data quality issues.
• Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ETL processes, data models, and solutions.
• Collaboration and Support : Work closely with business users and functional teams to understand requirements, provide support during testing, and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting : Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to BODS jobs and HANA performance.
• Project Lifecycle : Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, development, testing, and post‑implementation support.
