Key Responsibilities
- SAP BODS Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into SAP HANA.
- Performance and Optimization : Optimize BODS dataflows and HANA data models for performance and scalability, including performance tuning, memory management, and using features like delta loads and caching.
- Data Modeling : Create and maintain complex data models in SAP HANA, including Attribute, Analytic, and Calculation Views.
- Data Quality and Cleansing : Implement data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity and resolve data quality issues.
- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ETL processes, data models, and solutions.
- Collaboration and Support : Work closely with business users and functional teams to understand requirements, provide support during testing, and resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting : Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to BODS jobs and HANA performance.
- Project Lifecycle : Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, development, testing, and post‑implementation support.
Required Skills and Experience
SAP BODS : 5+ years of strong hands‑on experience in SAP BODS development, including designing complex jobs and workflows.SAP HANA : 6+ years of experience in SAP HANA data modeling, SQL scripting, stored procedures, and performance tuning.HANA Development Tools : Experience with SAP HANA Studio, Web IDE, and HANA XS Classic / Advanced.Integration : Experience with various integration scenarios, including with SAP and non‑SAP data sources, as well as cloud platforms.Data Migration : Proven experience with end‑to‑end data migration projects.ETL Concepts : A strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing best practices, and data migration strategies.Other Technologies : Familiarity with data provisioning tools (SDI, SDA, SLT) and integration methods like IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
