COMPANY DESCRIPTION :

Our client is a leading truck rental company and they are looking for a dedicated and reliable Claims Administrator to join their dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The Claims Administrator will handle all claims related to damage, write-offs, and traffic fines involving the trucks, including those with the companys own drivers, hired drivers, and customer drivers. This position will involve dealing with insurance companies and clients, and ensuring proper documentation and communication related to claims.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Process and manage claims for damages, write-offs, and traffic fines for trucks operated by our own drivers, hired drivers, and customer drivers.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to facilitate claim processing, including submitting required documentation and negotiating settlements.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve claims and provide updates on the progress of their claims.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and associated communications.
  • Ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow up with relevant parties to ensure claims are settled and payments are made.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure claims are handled efficiently.
  • Monitor and track claims to ensure proper documentation is completed and all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of traffic fines, insurance policies, and claims procedures.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Matric or equivalent
  • EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Proven experience in claims administration, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance claims procedures and traffic fines management.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with insurance companies, clients, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple claims and meet deadlines.
