Job descriptionGood credit rating. 2 years / associate degree. 4 years accounting and / or billing and / or collection experience can substitute for degree requirement. Less than one year of experience preferred. Organizational skills, mathematical ability, analytical thinking, grammar / spelling, and ability to read and follow instructions. Computer skills : Meditech, PC Windows, Excel, SSI, Optical Storage System, Logging System; clerical / ten-key; reimbursement methodology compliance. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. Position Wage Range : $21.23 - $31.22 / hour. Entry wage dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. Cash Reimbursement Specialist - Hybrid (Remote + On-site)
Valley View is seeking full-time Cash Reimbursement Specialists to assist our Patient Financial Services and Central Billing Offices teams. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work for a week every other month.
Eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses—refer a friend and earn $$$.
Responsibilities
- Researches and prepares contractual and policy adjustments to accounts daily.
- Ensures that payments by managed care providers are accurate.
- Ensures accurate receipting of payments.
- Cash processing of daily bank deposits.
