Job descriptionPlanning, study and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour. Daily, weekly and monthly sales report. Cost certification reconciliation and Additional Expenses reconciliation. Managing PBO’s closure, routing and formulation cost updates. Freight Out Reports indicating the cost per unit measure and allocation by product for Mapei. Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing weighted average costings to actual production costs Assisting in stock counting and auditing stock management. Cost simulation calculations on direct material changes – Price, quantity Prepare periodic cost reports. Verifying Products Marginality. Ad hoc costing linked requested Support with annual budgeting process Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in relevant field
- Tertiary Education or Degree in Cost and Management Accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiencies
- Preferred experience in Manufacturing sector dealing with costing and rates calculations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, good judgement.
- Ability to communicate and operate on all levels.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
