Location : Remote South Africa

Employment Type : Full-time (Independent Contractor Offshore)

Compensation : $1750 $2500 USD / month (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Our client a global educational technology company is seeking a Science Content Reviewer to join their academic quality assurance team.

In this role you will be responsible for reviewing validating and occasionally developing educational materials in Biology General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry ensuring each piece of content is scientifically accurate pedagogically sound and written in flawless English.

The ideal candidate will have balanced expertise across all three subjects capable of applying a high level of accuracy and consistency to complex science concepts. While the core focus is on content review and quality assurance you may also be asked to create or refine new questions either independently or in collaboration with the content team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate academic materials (questions explanations and written content) for scientific accuracy clarity and logical consistency
• Ensure all content aligns with undergraduate-level curricula and exam standards
• Develop or refine new questions and supporting explanations when required maintaining the clients academic and editorial standards
• Ensure all materials meet C1native level English standards with flawless grammar and clarity
• Identify and correct conceptual structural or grammatical issues
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with content authors and editors
• Follow internal style guides to maintain consistency and quality
• Manage version control and track changes accurately
• Meet project deadlines and manage workload effectively in a remote full-time setting
