Jewellery Sales Consultant

Job descriptionExperience in the retail industry, specifically in fine gold jewellery retail. Excellent communication skills; proficiency in additional languages (German / Spanish / Mandarin) is a plus. Tertiary qualification in Jewellery Design, a Social Degree or Business Degree is beneficial. 2+ years in the fine gold jewellery retail space. Deep understanding of precious metals and gemstones, with diamonds as a specific focus, is required. Sketching bespoke jewellery pieces during sales consultations (ideal but not required). Sell off-shelf gold and diamond products. Sell bespoke jewellery pieces. Achieve personal incentive targets. Cultivate and expand your customer network within our establishment. Foster and maintain strong customer relationships. Showcase and sell our diverse range of jewellery to new and existing clients. Exceed individual sales targets through dedication and expertise. Stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends. Participate actively in ongoing product training and development. Daily routines – banking, stock counting, housekeeping. Experience in jewellery design is advantageous (ideal but not required). Proven track record in jewellery selling within the jewellery retail industry. Exceptional communication skills and ability to connect with customers. Must have 2+ years in the fine gold jewellery retail space. Deep understanding of gemstones and precious metals. Matric or tertiary education is a must.
