Job descriptionThe main purpose of this versatile post is sales and marketing of Agri retail products in the Paarl, Simondium and surrounding areas. Grade 12 with supportive inhouse sales courses or NQF 5 Diploma 4 years related experience The ideal candidate should have good interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain good customer relationships, strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to function independently and under pressure Supplier networking advantageous but not a prerequisite NB : Your own transport is an inherent requirement The GOLD business imperatives displayed below are to be used as key indicators in sourcing competent candidates for this critical role. Engaging and maintaining productive and value adding relationships with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders Market Research (Negotiate and procurement) Reporting functional information (AgriSMART & QlikView) Good governance in all aspects of marketing environment Enhancing relationships by providing supportive technical advice Marketing of Agricultural and retail products Administration and ad hoc tasks Logistic capabilities regarding deliveries Utilise business networks for new business opportunities Liaising with clients to determine their optimal needs Provide advice and quotations to clients on product offerings, application and after- sales service Using digital technologies to create new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements Sales / Retail / Business Development jobs
