Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a motivated and talented Demi Chef de Partie to join a prestigious luxury restaurant group in Franschhoek. This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef to grow their skills in a world-class kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes across assigned sections
Work closely with senior chefs to ensure consistency in standards and presentation
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Support stock rotation, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients
Contribute to the smooth running of kitchen operations during service
Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Requirements :
Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef within fine dining or luxury hospitality
Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for culinary excellence
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good knowledge of kitchen operations, stock management, and food safety regulations
A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the role
Salary : Negotiable depending on experience
