Superb career opportunity with highly successful, medium sized manufacturer. Reporting to the Group MD you will be responsible for the manufacturing, production and related site-based support activities, including engineering and workshop functions with a specific focus on corporate governance and complying with the statutory and legal requirements of a modern business.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and control the operational activities of the processing plants to achieve the business’ financial and operational objectives.
• Manage operating budgets, including cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize raw materials and available resources.
• Overall responsibility for employee relations and staff development.
• Optimize business performance and translate strategy into effective action plans and ensure site-wide legal compliance
• Lead interactions with local authorities
