Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote, based in Cape Town)
Note : We are hiring for an INTERNAL ROLE . We are not interested in working with agencies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing job ads on LinkedIn - optimising spend, ensuring ads run effectively and attracting relevant talent.
- Skimming CVs using The Sales People’s hiring criteria to shortlist the best profiles quickly and accurately.
- Leading first-round screening calls to assess motivation, fit and communication quality.
- Managing candidate communications - ensuring every candidate has a smooth and professional experience.
- Handing over shortlisted candidates to our internal team for the skills tests and final evaluation — we’ll handle the later stages of the process.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales recruitment or sales talent acquisition , ideally in fast-paced or client-facing environments.
- Confident communicator - articulate, warm, and capable of making candidates feel comfortable and excited.
- Closing experience - can pitch roles persuasively and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone to get candidates booked in.
- Organised and proactive , able to manage multiple hiring processes and follow up consistently.
- Represents The Sales People’s brand well - as the first touchpoint for many of our candidates, you’ll be the voice and face of our business.
You’ll be part of a small, high-performing team helping startups scale their revenue engines through people. You’ll help build teams that change the trajectory of businesses. Once you’ve mastered the core responsibilities of this role, there’s clear progression ahead - including the opportunity to take ownership of targeted outbound recruiting , headhunting top performers, and shaping the talent strategy for The Sales People.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in sales recruitment or sales talent acquisition (preferred in fast-paced or client-facing environments).Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.Proven ability to close roles and book candidates for interviews.Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes.Employment details
