Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full financial and accounting function of the dealership
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to ensure sound financial planning
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize profitability
- Oversee debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of manufacturer and group financial reporting
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting systems
- Liaise with external auditors, SARS, and other financial institutions as required
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and tax requirements
- Support dealership management with strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff
Requirements :
Grade 12 / MatricBCom Accounting / Finance Degree or equivalent qualificationMinimum 2-3 years experience as a Financial Manager within an automotive dealership environmentStrong understanding of the motor industrys financial processes, including manufacturer reporting and composite statementsProficient in accounting software such as EvolveExcellent knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial controlsAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAttention to detail and ability to work under pressureExperience with passenger vehicle brands (premium or high-volume)Postgraduate qualification or professional registration (e.g., SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA) advantageousPlease note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
