The role requires a deep understanding of the mining industry, hygiene and sanitation solutions, and the ability to build long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned mining clients.
- Develop strong relationships with decision‑makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
Sales & Business Development
Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.Develop tailored proposals and solutions to meet client‑specific needs.Achieve revenue growth targets and contribute to overall business profitability.Operational Coordination
Liaise with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Monitor service performance and resolve any issues promptly.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on mining sites.Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and service agreements.Prepare monthly account performance reports and forecasts.Analyse client trends and feedback to inform strategic decisions.Qualifications & Experience
Matric (Grade 12) required; tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Mining‑related field preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management, preferably in mining or industrial sectors.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large accounts.Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Understanding of mining industry regulations and operational environments.Seniority level
