Bookkeeper

New Job opportunity for skilled Bookkeeper on a month-to-month contract for Engineering firm.

Purpose of role :

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the smooth running of the companys accounting and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Xero).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain organized filing of financial records (digital and hard copy).
