Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate needs to be available immediately (Temporary contract).
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification such as a Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping Certificate, or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Pastel)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgersProcess and reconcile accounts payable and receivableCapture supplier invoices and ensure timely paymentsPrepare and process customer invoices and credit notesReconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and petty cashAssist with stock reconciliations and costing reportsPrepare VAT submissions and ensure tax complianceSupport monthly management reporting and year-end auditsCollaborate with internal departments to ensure proper financial controls#J-18808-Ljbffr
