Director of Construction – Renewable Energy - Cape Town

The main purpose of the role : The Director of Construction will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all construction activities related to the hydrogen plant and associated infrastructure at Saldanha and other local sites. This includes oversight of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works, with a strong focus on safety, quality, timeline, budget, and environmental compliance. Leading a multidisciplinary construction team made up of Developer teams, EPC(M) and contractors, and requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, project controls, regulatory, and stakeholder engagement functions for the project. This is a senior leadership role requiring proven experience in large-scale industrial or energy infrastructure projects.
