Duties & Responsibilities

A rapidly expanding Telecoms Specialist seeks a seasoned and motivated Account Executive to join their New Business Team. In this role, your main objective will be to assess leads and cultivate fresh sales within the South African Automotive Industry. Your contribution to the sales pipeline will be pivotal as you identify prospective clients, establish connections, and foster opportunities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven by results, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in sales development or a comparable field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. Proficiency in Afrikaans is essential.

DUTIES :

• Lead Generation and Qualification :
• Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
• Utilise prospecting tools and techniques to build a robust pipeline of leads.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound lead generation efforts.
• Initial Outreach and Engagement :
• Reach out to potential clients to initiate contact and gauge interest (outbound communication).
• Engage prospects in a conversation to understand their challenges and introduce them to the solutions offered by the company.
• After qualifying leads, schedule appointments and demonstrations for potential clients with the sales team.
• Keep track of all sales leads and follow-ups in the sales pipeline.
• Ensure usage of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to document interactions and progress with potential clients.
• Collaboration with Sales Team :
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and to align on target markets and sales strategies.
• Ensure that targets or quotas for the number of leads generated, calls made, meetings scheduled and attended, and number of sales made and revenue achievement.
• Market Research, Analysis & Continuous Learning :
• Constantly research market trends, understanding competitor offerings, and identifying new opportunities for sales outreach.
• Continuously enhance product knowledge to effectively communicate value to potential customers.
